Setting HPGL Pen Colors

An HPGL file is a stream of instructions for a pen plotter.  Before drawing a line, a particular pen number is selected.  This demo shows how you can assign colors to these different pen numbers for display in browser-based SwiftView. See the sample sview.ini for an example of how to use these commands with standalone Windows SwiftView.  Using the radio buttons below, you can assign a color to each of the four pens then click the "Display SwiftView" button.  Also you can try setting the new "Set all pens black" command, which is useful for CAD drawings that are printed in faint colors.  The "Display ICS commands" button shows the ICS commands that are sent to SwiftView.  To configure your website for colors, you can simply copy those commands and paste them into your npsview.ics file.  See the FAQ for more information about configuring your website.
